English Mastery for Native Children
Bespoke Lessons Tailored to Your Child’s Needs
At Little Linguists, I offer native English lessons based on the National Curriculum for England, designed to promote high standards of language and literacy. My lessons focus on developing a strong command of both spoken and written English, with particular attention to grammar, spelling, punctuation, and reading comprehension skills.
I also encourage a love of literature, inspiring students to engage in extensive reading for enjoyment, which enhances their appreciation of language. The lessons incorporate a variety of fiction genres, poetry, playscripts, and non-fiction texts, providing authentic contexts for skill development.
Tailored lessons for your child
Each lesson is carefully tailored to meet the individual needs of your child, following the KS1 and KS2 programmes of study. For KS3 students, I also offer catch-up lessons to ensure continued progress and support.

Assessment
At the end of Year 2 and Year 6 in England, children are required to take KS1 and KS2 SATs as part of their primary education. In addition to these statutory tests, primary schools also have the option to assess pupils in other year groups through what are known as « Optional SATs. »
—
At Little Linguists, formal exams are not conducted. However, optional SATs at KS1 and KS2 are used to assess students’ knowledge and understanding of the relevant Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 programmes of study.
